Visual/Graphic Designer

Job Summary and Mission:

This position contributes to Client's success by developing retail store execution that achieves enterprise and brand strategy for assigned category and/ or business unit – bringing to life both our brand attributes along side seasonal initiatives that align with our corporate goals.

Promotional Production Support/Signs Communications Designer
• Provide store level execution (Siren’s Eyes) for the following locations:
o Doors/Windows
o Banner
o A-Frame
o DOB
o Menu Boards
o Floor Rack – if program other than retail lobby product
o Brewer Toppers
o Condiment Bar / Community Board
o Banner
o Sneeze Guard Sign
o Mini DOB -
o Posters - LS stores
o Menu Boards - LS specific
o Additive pieces to any of the above (example: Share Event magnets)
• Support Promotional Beverage and Program sign files generated by Promo/Brand team

Designer Responsibilities
• Track Promotional Beverage files requiring placement instruction within CO/LS retail stores
• Track and provide placement for Brand/Program files, such as MSR/MOP signs, as well as special projects, one offs, and sign tests
• Attend cross functional studio Promo/Program meetings as assigned
• Work with Producer team to determine correct information captured for each Siren’s Eye version based on business requirements, launch dates, and segmentation needs
• Capture Sign Part #s, Job #s and specific sign directives into InDesign layout (Siren’s Eye)
• Work with Communications team to ensure Siren’s Eye layout consistency from promo to promo
• Cross reference sign file routings for correct display dates, Job #s and Part #s
• Participate in Siren’s Eye book reviews, follow up with Producers, and update content accordingly based on client feedback and Producer input

Job Scope
Multitask multiple sign projects in different design stages within creative studio.
Quick learner of new processes, comfortable with and easily adapts to change.
Gather information from various proficiencies into cohesive sign placement documents for store level execution.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Leadership
- Collaborates with manager and studio producer team to develop comprehensive visual communications for projects, promotions, and product launches for Client retail stores
- Manages competing priorities of projects to align with company prioritization

Business Requirements
- Provides functional expertise and executes functional responsibilities
- Executes communication materials of visual plan for promotions and events to retail partners
- Collaborate with internal studio teams on assigned projects
- Execute assigned department projects that promote client brand identity and enhance the experience for the consumer

Planning and Execution
- Develops plans for assigned projects, executes, and evaluates results

Summary of Experience
- Minimum 2-4 years experience visual communication or graphic design
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Microsoft Excel
- Articulate – excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong aesthetic and design skills
- Proven strength in problem analysis and creative problem solving
- Strong organizational skills
- Act and work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to build effective working relationships with cross functional teams and individuals
- Proficient in Mac programs and Microsoft Office
- Strong proof reading skills
