Here you will put your creativity to work on cross functional Scrum teams to deliver high quality, intuitive experience for some of the biggest brands out there.

Your Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design process for your projects.
Facilitate on-site discovery sessions with clients and stakeholders to define business and product goals, business architecture, requirements, constraints, measurable UX success metrics, and assumptions.
Perform fast paced end user research, in person and remote, to validate assumptions and define goals, task flows, pain points, emotions, and skills for target user segments.
Analyze and translate research and discovery sessions into deliverables, such as personas, consumer journey maps, business architecture diagrams, competitive audits, heuristic evaluations, sitemaps, and content audits.
Conceptualize usable interaction design patterns in the form of user flow diagrams, wireframes, and low fidelity prototypes.
Moderate usability testing sessions
Prioritize and communicate findings from usability testing sessions
Support your design decisions with data
Collaborate with visual designers, developers, and project managers.
Sell your work — tell compelling stories when presenting deliverables to customers.
Occasionally work on multiple projects at once.
Work from headquarters in Reston, VA

Required Experience

Have the ability to solve complex problems and communicate solutions to others.
Have designed, built and delivered multiple effective mobile applications.
Have worked directly with clients to conceptualize and build user experience strategies.
Have experience creating wireframes and prototypes based on user stories and client requirements.
Have expertise in Axure, Sketch and similar tools.
Nice to Have, but not Required

Experience with writing agile user stories and acceptance criteria
Have a Dribbble, Behance or other portfolio site to showcase your work
In browser design skills using CSS, HTML, and Javascript
