My client's Seller Support seeks a bright, XML-savvy technical writer with content management system (CMS) experience to join our Editorial team.

The role requires handling of help content for legal policies in cooperation with local/global writers/editors. You will be a major player in the migration of content from current Amazon systems to a dashboard approach to improve the Sellers Experience.
The successful candidate will be self-directed, and equally comfortable contributing within a global team environment.

Knowledge about legal documentation and legal terms.
Background in technical writing, editing, or information design. Communication and logic skills are also essential, for working with complex content sets involving reviewing editing and transforming content produced by others.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, technical writing, or related field, or comparable job experience
5 years or more in a technical writing, content strategist, or information developer role with a primary focus on platforms, software, and workflow applications
5 years or more working with legal documentation
Ability to demonstrate how you have created high-quality online documentation for a consumer audience
Experience with content creation, editing and publication
Dedication to team success while working independently on multiple projects
Experience managing content projects, including coordinating with other functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HTML, XML-based (preferably DITA XML-based) content management systems, document tagging, and SEO best practices
Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with a strong bias for action and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Experience working as part of a global team with remote colleagues
Exceptional writing, summarizing, and editing in US and UK
English. Experience in legal writing is a plus.
Experience and understanding in the use of HTML for web page creation.
Ownership of assigned work and deliver results, work collaboratively with Operations, Editorial and Legal teams.

Project Description:
The initiative is to help sellers understand policy differences that exist between different markets. The seller-facing content will describe the differences in specific policy areas, relevant to sellers who plan on international expansions. The need is to streamline and simplify existing help content that will facilitate seller understanding without having to contact Amazon.

Responsibilities/Deliverables:
Create editorial help content and modify existing content, where necessary for the identified policies.
Create 2 web pages with the newly created/modified content.
