This maternity cover Channel Marketing Manager role is responsible for driving increased market share and platform revenues of their devices by developing, implementing and measuring retailer specific promotions and marketing plans. Working in partnership with retailers & OEMs, the role will involve finding ways to effectively communicate the brand and products at the point of purchase via innovative in store / product messaging, assisted selling and partner media activity.

The Smartphone market is in a period of explosive growth and innovation which over the next few years makes it one of the most competitive and exciting markets to be in. World class competition is moving the battleground from being hardware-led to being software- and services-led. This has prompted unprecedented investment levels in software and apps development, marketing and strategic partnerships.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential Experience
• Direct and relevant experience of the retail channel working in a retailer / agency / supplier ideally within a channel marketing or store operations role
• Proven track record of high level relationship building
• Planning and organisational experience

Technical / Functional Skills

• Track record in successfully driving sales growth from effective channel marketing / marketing campaigns .
• Ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation.
