Skill Level: Intermediate

Role Description:
Provide operational support to the Business Operations team under the direction of the Business and Financial Manager. Ideal candidate will be highly ambitious with a keen attention to detail, have superior organizational and communication skills, and be able to work with confidential information. Candidate should be prepared to take charge of a project and deliver timely and optimal results. Ideal candidate has the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that improves processes.
Responsibilities:
Gather important company data and compile it into reports shareholders and departmental managers can use.
Contribute analyses to reports being prepared for senior management to aid in making financial, client, acquisition, or other business decisions.
Participate in month end analyses to summarize, reconcile, and report financial data from transactions, fee payments, and accruals, to identify or track trends.
Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of financial and contractual records
Complete financial and/or contractual research for special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of related experience
High proficiency in use Microsoft Office applications
Superior Excel experience is a must
Proactive; can work independently and as part of a team
Can produce well written correspondence and presentations
Experience with month end close process and monthly financial reporting
Experience interpreting contracts and Purchase Orders and conveying necessary actions
