35 - Associate Brand Manager

Our awesome CPG client is looking for a Brand Manager to help with a product launch! You should have CPG experience, account management, and be up to speed with all avenues of digital outlets!

This is a 6 month assignment:

- 20 hrs/week starting immediately; increasing to

- 40 hrs/week starting 8/15/16

1. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This is an exciting position structured to develop candidates to become key contributors to

the brand's overall strategy, annual business plans, holistic communication plans, and brand

executions across all media and consumer touch points. The candidate will work on a New

Product Launch, potentially with exposure to additional Innovation projects.

The candidate will work directly with the Senior Business

Manager in the development of all aspects of consumer facing promotions as well as day to

day business analysis and management. Candidate must be passionate about the consumer

and highly entrepreneurial. He or she should excel at out of the box thinking and be inspired

by challenge. The ideal candidate is accountable and nimble, and someone who enjoys

working in a fun, fast-paced setting.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

 Steer the development and execution of product launch plan, identifying key

opportunities, challenges, and objectives to achieve volume, market share and profit

goals.

 Lead and manage all consumer-facing promotions, including but not limited to

development of creative briefs, managing and fostering of external agency relationships,

providing recommendations on programs that meet objectives, exploration and

knowledge of latest digital adverting tools and evaluation of campaigns for success and

future implementation/improvements.

 Collaborate with internal multi-discipline functions, including Sales, Supply Chain,

Finance, and Operations, to develop strategies and plans that drive growth, deliver

objectives and resolve issues.

 Manage and track marketing budget.


2. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 General consumer packaged goods industry knowledge

 1-3 years consumer goods marketing or related business management experience

preferred

 Proficient with MS Office Suite with exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills


4. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.

 MBA interns may be considered for the part-time role through 8/15.


6. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

 Occasional travel required.
