We are looking for a dynamic, organized individual to join our Publisher Services team as a Production Assistant in Charleston, SC location.

Position Overview
This position reports to the Publishing Account Manager. The primary goal of the team is to provide publishers with best-in-class services for physical and e-books.
A Production Assistant is responsible for understanding the needs of the team and business, and proactively acting upon those needs. This person must be highly organized and able to manage, consolidate, and analyze considerable amounts of data. Critical-thinking skills and a strong sense of team are essential to a successful experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in our environment that demands a strong work ethic, the ability to deal with ambiguity, a drive to succeed, and a positive attitude.

Job Responsibilities
· Support publishing services team with numerous administrative needs and data and asset management, focusing on administrative details independently while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed.
· Run daily and weekly reports and schedules, incorporating and forecasting data to be used by team.
· Perform quality control, which includes confirmation of proper inputs and changes to print and electronic files.
· Work within proprietary services system to coordinate projects.
· Assist with monthly invoicing and accounting reconciliation.
· Help drive completion of key deliverables and follow-up when appropriate.
· Format documents and manuscripts per specifications.
· Drive research and gather trends that will inform decisions and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Basic Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Suite, with concentrations in Word and Excel
- Associate’s degree.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Outstanding prioritization and organization skills; with ability to effectively multi-task and keep on top of multiple priorities
- High level of self-motivation and self-accountability; able to work independently
- Strong detail orientation; you don’t miss a thing!
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years previous of professional experience , in a fast-paced office environment
