What You’ll Do

• Lead and facilitate all agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning, ensuring efficient and productive sessions.
• Champion agile software development practices, influencing team members and stakeholders to embrace and adhere to best-in-class methodologies.
• Serve as a vital interface, fostering seamless communication and alignment between development teams, Product Owners, and key stakeholders across project management, business, and quality assurance to ensure successful, on-time, and within-budget project delivery.
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project dependencies, risks, and impediments, ensuring projects remain on track and objectives are met.
• Monitor and clearly communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and release status, maintaining comprehensive process documentation for transparency and accountability.
• Provide clear, concise updates and escalations to relevant parties, highlighting potential business impacts and proposed solutions.
• Empower teams to self-organize, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and ensuring that each increment of functionality is potentially releasable and of high quality.
• Coach and support teams in making appropriate commitments, expertly facilitating conflict resolution, and shielding them from distractions to achieve sprint goals effectively.
• Leverage a variety of scrum tools and frameworks to enhance team efficiency, coordination, and ensure synchronized deliverables for successful product releases.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of dedicated experience as a Certified Scrum Master, demonstrating deep expertise in agile leadership.
• Demonstrated mastery in utilizing the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) for maintaining robust Scrum Boards, including the breakdown of features into Epics, User Stories, Tasks, and Subtasks.
• A thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures, coupled with a deep grasp of the entire software development life cycle.
• Proven track record of successfully applying agile methodologies on large-scale, technically complex projects.
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), superior organizational abilities, and strong time management, complemented by a powerful ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
• Highly adaptable to changing environments, self-motivated, and creatively adept at proposing innovative solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
• A proven ability to coach teams to their highest potential, hold members accountable, set clear performance standards, and skillfully resolve issues to keep teams engaged and focused on tasks.
• A collaborative mindset, capable of driving critical decisions and expertly managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Experience working within the financial industry, possessing a foundational understanding of basic financial concepts.
• Proficiency in translating intricate business requirements into clear technical requirements using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles.
