Our global retailer client is looking to hire for a Creative Project Manager. This internal creative group engine links all functions, and manages the end-to-end workflows for full-funnel creative campaigns (inclusive of platform and concept development) with excellence. Creative Project Managers work closely with Creative Account Management, Creatives, and Integrated Production to ensure that projects are moving seamlessly through the system and that challenges are addressed quickly.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is hybrid 3 days onsite in Playa Vista,CA. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Creative Account Management on project intake ensuring that resources are appropriately assigned, and jobs are opened in Workfront.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, working with account, creative and production team members on input and alignment.
  • Keep project team updated on key milestones, timeline shifts, and changes in deliverables.
  • Drive projects from beginning to end and be the “go-to” person on project status.
  • Provide detailed support for the creative team and be a “righthand” to the creative lead through the creative development process.
  • Ensure project milestones and documents are updated in Workfront as projects progress through the agency.
  • Lead internal status meetings and share status documents to ensure clarity of weekly milestones, meetings, and deliverables.
  • Call out scheduling, resourcing or other potential challenges well in advance and offer solutions.
  • Follow up with creative and production teams to ensure they have the assets needed to get the job done. Ensure that the teams are working toward key milestones.
  • Liaise with other Creative Account Management & Operations leads to ensure work is being routed to appropriate partners while in development (legal, trademark, Corp Comms, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners and escalate to creative leadership when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years as a Creative Project Manager with an advertising agency or in-house creative group.
  • Experience leading a high volume of projects ranging from branding and conceptual development to tactical execution.
  • Experience with Workfront or similar PM software preferred.
