Immediate opening for an Asset Management Specialist in Cupertino, CA!​

  • Interview Process: 3 rounds
  • Location: hybrid in Cupertino, CA 
  • Onsite Requirements: You must be able to work 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday)
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week. M – F, standard business hours.
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Weekly pay (W2) and benefits will be offered by AQUENT 
  • Background screening required prior to the start date

You’ll be the architect of streamlined workflows, ensuring seamless access to a vast library of assets for creative teams. Your expertise will empower teams to create stunning visuals seen across diverse platforms.
As an Asset Management Specialist, you’ll be the central point of contact, bridging the gap between creative teams and the technical infrastructure that supports them. You will play a vital role in optimizing the creative process, enabling teams to efficiently manage and leverage a vast library of assets.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between design teams and the asset management platform, translating requirements into actionable solutions and informing feature development.
  • Design and implement file and folder taxonomies, establishing efficient workflows within the asset management system.
  • Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams on user stories, prioritizing feature requests and bug fixes to enhance platform functionality.
  • Oversee the integration of the asset management platform with other project management systems, ensuring seamless data flow and collaboration.
  • Conduct thorough user acceptance testing, identify and report anomalies in production environments, and escalate and track issues to resolution.
  • Contribute to data migration and planning, ensuring a smooth transition and data integrity.
  • Manage user and group permissions models, aligning access with team workflows and security protocols.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, create and deliver engaging presentations for onboarding and ongoing training sessions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience evaluating and implementing media and entertainment workflows using industry-leading asset management software and systems.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and tools, coupled with a deep understanding of various project structures, file formats (static and video), and metadata.
  • Broad knowledge of library tools, systems, and resources in corporate organizations.
  • Solid design background with expert knowledge of motion and static assets in creative environments.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • macOS platform proficiency.
  • Expertise in creating and presenting data and training materials using presentation software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional design sense and meticulous follow-through across deliverables.
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and maintain a high degree of organization across teams.
  • Ability to make sound independent decisions and articulate the rationale behind them.
  • Skill in identifying parallels between various business line needs to formulate consolidated solutions.
  • Experience with industry-standard design software packages used in UI/UX and media and entertainment industries.
  • Excellent project and task-tracking skills with attention to detail and the ability to maintain a big-picture perspective.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50.45 to $56.06 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
