This position is currently hybrid and is M-W onsite but will be moving to 5-days/week onsire on 9/1/25. This is a 12+ month contract with posisble extension.
Aquent is looking for a Linux Administrator to support our Redmond-based large technology client.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a variety of Azure Cloud Hosted and on-prem Linux infrastructure and production services.
- Automate application configuration and system maintenance using Bash and occasionally PowerShell.
- Develop additional monitoring and disaster recovery automation for several Windows and Linux services.
- Add monitoring and performance metrics for a variety of Linux and Windows Services.
- Regularly write clear and concise documentation for infrastructure, services, and application deployments.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within the Linux infrastructure to ensure timely restoration of services and system stability.
- Provision and manage Linux infrastructure leveraging Terraform and Docker for automated deployment and containerization.
- Participate in and serve as escalation point in a 24/7 call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Linux administration
- Strong Bash and PowerShell experience
- Experience with disaster recovery automation
- Experience with monitoring
- Technical documentation experience
Compensation Range: $45 -50/hr DOE
The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
