We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Marketing Project Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale projects and optimizing marketing communications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience), along with 3 to 5 years of experience in project management and marketing execution. This role involves utilizing technical skills and marketing expertise to develop, implement, and optimize automated marketing campaigns, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize automated marketing campaigns, translating marketing requirements into technical requirements for IT teams based on current marketing technologies at SCE.
- Manage marketing communications projects, including overseeing campaigns and content that support the customer journey and align with the selling process.
- Oversee the development of marketing communications campaigns, utilizing industry trends and media coverage to create innovative story ideas.
- Ensure campaigns are executed within established guidelines, meeting organizational marketing objectives and complying with marketing plans.
- Track key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of communications efforts and make data-driven decisions to refine strategies.
- Shape and manage strategic marketing communication plans, ensuring alignment with business initiatives and obtaining leadership approvals.
- Review customer feedback and analytics to proactively enhance the customer experience and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product or program owners to oversee the development, measurement, and execution of SCE’s marketing, digital, and customer lifecycle nurture programs.
- Achieve operational efficiency through the development and execution of optimal channel strategies, targeted communications, and relevant messaging.
- Ensure the protection of physical, financial, cybersecurity assets, and sensitive customer data, adhering to the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Experience:
- Seven or more years of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and apply project management techniques and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas and information to various audiences.
- Strong experience with developing project requirements, adhering to schedules, and executing project plans.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under tight time constraints.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in implementing automated offer management using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar enterprise-grade marketing hub.
- Vendor management experience and expertise in multi-channel marketing strategy and planning.
- Familiarity with analytics-driven marketing strategies, data modeling, and campaign optimization.
- Previous experience in the utility or regulated industries is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise marketing software platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc.).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47.78 to $53.09 per hour, depending on education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
