WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a seasoned DevOps engineer with the skills to automate repeatable processes, develop integrated solutions, and help deliver a seamless cloud deployment and reporting platform.

The candidate will have demonstrable experience coding and scripting using languages like Python, JavaScript, etc. Understand serverless architectures and continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD), plus GraphQL and RESTful API development. Understand infrastructure-as-code technologies (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation), source code management (GitHub) as it relates to the developer experience. Build automation skills (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) are also required.

Our preferred candidate is a team-player and a self-starter with a passion for learning and growing. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate with a highly technical audience are desired qualifications.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training, and experience.
  • 3+ years of development experience using AWS.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
  • Proficient in programming using two or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, Groovy, Java.
  • Experience in designing and consuming Rest and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience in containerization using Docker.

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience setting up, maintaining, and automating continuous integration systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Containerization with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience working on a Platform as a Service (PaaS) team.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
You will be working on technical solutions that serve other engineering, data, or business-facing teams. Our technical solutions serve the end-to-end breadth of our client, streamlining the developer experience to improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and code quality. Working closely with development, operations, and security teams, you will identify and resolve issues and inefficiencies in delivery workflows. Key responsibilities include automating delivery processes and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) platforms. Orchestrating automated tests to reduce manual effort and improve product quality. We build our products to run reliable and at scale, quality is built into our solutions upfront, with a testing and quality mentality being a crucial attribute of our team.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60 to $69 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
