Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Central Purchasing and Signing team within the SBM’s Office, helping to deliver the objectives and outcomes aligned with the STS Approval and Signing strategy. You will focus on ensuring long-term sustainability of the STS pipeline and purchasing model through a centralized body with well-defined OKRs. Your role will also involve optimizing stakeholder engagement, aligning governance processes with pipeline principles, and ensuring the company can flexibly leverage third-party vendors while minimizing risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CPSP group to provide strategic direction on Pipeline and Purchase priorities.
- Partner with key stakeholders, including Technology, CVM, Legal, and Finance, to meet Pipeline objectives and ensure successful contract signing and purchase processes.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, safeguarding the STS and broader enterprise from undue risk while ensuring flexibility and innovation.
- Define governance processes and identify tools to support distributed Agile teams, ensuring efficiency and risk management.
- Optimize cross-enterprise stakeholder engagement to minimize firm-wide risk and drive alignment with top-down pipeline guiding principles.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to purchasing and signing objectives to ensure quality and alignment with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (1 – 2+ years).
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate issues and design appropriate solutions.
- Experience in understanding and navigating procurement processes for software, hardware, and professional services.
- Hands-on experience with Ariba Cloud or similar purchasing software is required.
- Proven ability to manage, maintain, and measure data models for an organization, with a focus on safeguarding enterprise risk.
- Experience managing purchases based on demand while adhering to top-down guiding principles.
- Ability to define and track the quality of work outputs, ensuring that deliverables meet established standards.
- Prior knowledge in pipeline management is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams and across distributed environments.
Compensation:
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35.27 to $39.19 an hour. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
