SOCIAL COMMUNITY MANAGER
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our Beauty Client is looking for a Social Community Manager to drive engagement across social channels, with a
strong focus on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok and experience in the hair and beauty space.
COMMUNITY STRATEGY 30%
Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams ensuring that community customer
service/social listening strategy supports overall brand goals and objectives.
Support brand teams to develop editorial social calendar and schedule for publishing.
MANAGEMENT & MODERATION 50%
Respond to questions and comments across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube in order
to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience
Monitor comments and complaints in a quick and timely manner with the ability to spot warning
signs / potential crises
Proactive outreach to new artists to grow our audience
Schedule and post content across social channels
Find user generated content and reach out for re-posting permissions when needed
Engage in social listening to identify trends and potential influencer partnerships
Identify and manage sub-communities (brand advocates) within our follower base and foster
relationships between sub-community members and the brand
Help to organize offline engagement with sub-communities and artists as needed
Utilize social analytics tools to generate insights
Summarize insights and conversations to create actionable next steps
Measure data from owned and competitor social channels to create KPI reports
Proficiency in social media channels
1-2 years of experience managing social communities or related experience
Solid understanding of social media analytics or related analytical experience
Proficiency in social listening tools like NetBase and Traackr
An analytical eye to extract trends from large data sets and translate trends into insights
A creative eye to curate a beautiful social platform
Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28.00 to $33.00/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
