SOCIAL COMMUNITY MANAGER

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our Beauty Client is looking for a Social Community Manager to drive engagement across social channels, with a
strong focus on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok and experience in the hair and beauty space.

COMMUNITY STRATEGY 30%
 Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams ensuring that community customer
service/social listening strategy supports overall brand goals and objectives.
 Support brand teams to develop editorial social calendar and schedule for publishing.

MANAGEMENT & MODERATION 50%
 Respond to questions and comments across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube in order
to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience
 Monitor comments and complaints in a quick and timely manner with the ability to spot warning
signs / potential crises
 Proactive outreach to new artists to grow our audience
 Schedule and post content across social channels
 Find user generated content and reach out for re-posting permissions when needed
 Engage in social listening to identify trends and potential influencer partnerships
 Identify and manage sub-communities (brand advocates) within our follower base and foster
relationships between sub-community members and the brand
 Help to organize offline engagement with sub-communities and artists as needed

REPORTING 20%
 Utilize social analytics tools to generate insights
 Summarize insights and conversations to create actionable next steps
 Measure data from owned and competitor social channels to create KPI reports

DESIRED SKILLS
 Proficiency in social media channels
 1-2 years of experience managing social communities or related experience
 Solid understanding of social media analytics or related analytical experience
 Proficiency in social listening tools like NetBase and Traackr
 An analytical eye to extract trends from large data sets and translate trends into insights
 A creative eye to curate a beautiful social platform
 Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28.00 to $33.00/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.  Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
