UX Designer

Overview

This position is mostly remote with an occasional meeting on site in Vienna, VA. Must be able to get to Vienna, VA monthly.

UX Designer needed for large bank to support and/or develop user-centered design solutions for all levels of products and digital initiatives via user interface solutions and interaction models. Develops project execution plans, deployment schedules, and implements User Experience UX design projects of moderate to complex scope. Works independently with limited guidance. 

This UX designer would serve as the UX lead on an Agile team. Work with research to create and test wires, share them out with various teams for feedback and collaboration, and work closely with a Visual Designer, a Product Owner, and an Experience Analyst to deliver wires and prototypes to the Visual designer for final UI polishing.

• Significant experience in design fundamentals
• Significant experience in interaction design, visual design, and industry standards
• Significant experience in user centered design processes and best practices
• Knowledge of modern development standards, techniques and methodologies (e.g., HTML, XHTML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, etc.)
• Working knowledge of best practices for web and mobile-based content, tools, and forms
• Ability to interpret requirements into executable design solutions
• Strong cross-group collaboration and persuasion skills
• Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Significant experience performing analysis of business processes and functions
• Skills in project management to include establishing and leading project teams; managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation 
• Experienced with Agile environments.

Must have a portfolio with case studies showing your work.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55-$62.
