Job Description:

Are you a Service Design Strategist, known as the swiss-army knife of design strategy? Do you have experience with end-to-end innovation design, comfortable rolling up your sleeves and participating, as well as leading? Then this is the perfect consulting opportunity for you!

Our major Consumer Health client is looking for an Experience and Service Design Lead to create compelling future-state visions for new-to-world products and services. The perfect candidate will not only lead these visions through concept to completion but will also be able to develop the research, put together early prototypes, basic design, speak to businesses at all levels, including championing design innovation and education, and bring teams together to drive products and services forward.

Must have:

  • Mixed methods design research from discovery to prototype evaluation (e.g. competitive analysis, desk research, ethnography, IDIs, usability testing, co-creation, card-sorting, etc)
  • Creative synthesis skills (e.g. journey mapping, service blueprinting, opportunity definition, model development, prioritization)
  • Prototyping (e.g. service prototyping, storyboarding, wireframing, wizard-of-oz experimentation, etc.)
  • UI/UX best practices
  • KPI development
  • Visual storytelling
  • Workshop and design sprint facilitation
  • Experience roadmapping
  • Ability to lead end-to-end design workstreams w/ complex cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of what it takes to launch an MVP product/service ecosystem
  • Proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools such as Figma, AdobeXD, Sketch, MURAL, etc.

  • Design workstream leadership through collaboration, as part of a larger cross-functional team
  • Ability to partner closely with program managers to ensure on-time, high quality delivery
  • Ability to “speak the languages” of tech, business, R+D, marketing, etc.
  • Ability to mentor and grow junior design talent on projects

  • Ability to influence process and approach on cross functional teams

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $60-80 hourly. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
