We are seeking a Retail Digital Strategist for a long term salaried consultant opportunity.

Candidates MUST HAVE Automotive experience. This role is remote, however, candidates must be located in Vancouver BC or Alberta areas. Travel to dealerships in those areas is required.

The  Retail Digital Strategist (RDS) reporting to the Manager, Digital Business and
Portfolio is a liaison between our automotive client in Canada and its retail partners. This dedicated
role drives adoption and consultancy for all "client" Canada digital platforms at the
dealership level supporting common initiatives driven to improve success and sales
performance.
Responsible for ensuring that the "client" Dealer Network delivers the ultimate
automotive omni-channel shopping experience as defined by "client" Canada. They will
work hand in hand with field and dealer leadership to deliver customized bespoke
platform process consulting that aligns the entire nationwide dealer network and
brings consistency to the customer sales and after sales experience, regardless of
how or where consumers choose to shop (online, in-store, remote).
The Retail Digital Strategist is a consistent partner to the retailer, committed to
delivering upon the program, dealer and regional KPI’s and objectives. The Retail
Digital Strategist steers the dealership through implementation challenges and
assists with the realization of performance opportunities associated with the
effective utilization of the products and services provided.
This support assures long-term success with the digital solution and a positive
relationship between "client" Canada and its dealership partners. The Retail Digital
Strategist is an expert in the effective usage of the entire product suite and
associated reporting and possesses the ability to translate that knowledge into
actionable steps that positively affect dealership adoption and performance. These
team members are proactive relationship building resources consulting with dealers
to optimize success through the use of program elements and are vital to program
success.
Responsibilities:
• Steward and evangelist for adoption, retention, and value proposition of the client
platform, Lead Management platform (Salesforce) and future platforms that delivers a
holistic ecosystem for "client" Canada
• Consult dealer contacts on digital marketing best practices and online strategy.
Specifically capturing demand through efficient advertising, website content, and in
store lead management and process through monthly consultation with all dealers
• Partner with the business development, digital, field operations and marketing teams
• Consult the dealer on their lead management process
• Support the efforts of the dealership partners as they adopt and utilize the tools
provided by the program
• Build and maintain relationship between "client" Canada dealership and vendor partners.

• View and understand all reporting and analytics associated with the program while
helping contacts implement metrics into day to day business strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with leadership teams within assigned dealerships
• Respond with training and expertise to reporting trends directly affecting sales
performance
• Report activity and results to the field team manager at regular pre-determined
intervals.
• Regularly collaborate with account management team for the success of the retailers.
• Manage travel expense budget according to corporate guidelines.
• Utilize Salesforce reporting to recap dealer meetings, including observations, analysis,
action items and follow-up visit
• Follow-up with internal stakeholders, region teams, and dealers to seek answers, source
information, and provide solution
Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in a Digital Marketing role
• Experience in automotive retail and modern digital platforms
• Experienced in improving the lead management process
• Bachelor’s Degree or applicable experience
• History of successfully developing and leading Digital Marketing initiatives
• Dealership retail experience preferred with knowledge of dealership operations /
departments
• Ability to act as a trainer and group facilitator

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $72-77K/ year. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
