Jr. Copywriter

This is a hybrid position and candidates must reside in the SF Bay area.

This is a salaried consultant role with Aquent Studios and include subsidized benefits and PTO.

We’re looking for a Jr. Copywriter to join the Aquent Studios team and transform messaging into engaging copy across platforms. Our writers are team players, working in constant collaboration with art directors, creative directors, studio managers, and marketing teams. They're detail-oriented, and committed to originality and quality. They present work to diverse stakeholder teams with confidence. Most of all, they're curious and committed to pushing their skills into new creative channels and styles.

1-3 years of copywriting experience within a creative agency or industry

The work will focus campaigns including social, display, email, web and event collateral.

What you’ll do:

●           Intake briefs from a diversity of marketing stakeholders

●           Bring your curiosity to each briefing, asking constructive questions to make sure briefs are clear and answered accurately

●           Generate unique creative concepts and copy against a variety of briefs in collaboration with design peers and creative directors

●           Present your work with clarity, enthusiasm and a strong rationale for your decisions

●           Bring your passions, cultural trends and platform expertise to your work and the team

What you need to succeed:

●            1-3 years of copywriting experience within a creative agency or industry

●           Ability to collaborate with business units, marketing teams, and larger Studio team closely

●           Willingness to constructively receive, weigh, and integrate diverse feedback

●           Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively

●           Ability to present copy in a clear, confident, professional, and cogent manner

●           Ability to explain rationale for copy decisions to a broad audience

●           Awareness of industry trends, and ability to incorporate new techniques and trends

●           Willingness to proactively identify issues and propose solutions

●           Willingness to actively seek out and involve other team members as appropriate to improve marketing programs

Requirements:

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities.
