We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer obsessed tools engineer that will help build the technology that will empower our community teams. We work closely with the producers and engineering to design compelling user experiences that streamline live operations. We have an experienced, supportive, fun and passionate team. The role is to help support live operations within the program so working on the tools that are utilized for live operations including websites. They have 4 public facing websites for things like forums and others. So some work will be on the website side handling CMS integration work. Most of the development for it is done by 3rd party teams and they help to support it. They will also work with the internal live operations tooling. Like helping to build tools for support agents where they can ban, gift, and message people within the game. A lot of web tooling work.

They work on items in ADO, they do planning every few weeks to get them work items, there is a good support system. They might start an on call rotation (during business hours).


  • 5+ years building web APIs using C#, python or similar.
  • At least 1 year of Modern web tech stack including Angular and React.
  • Rock solid understanding of software engineering best practices (SOLID, patterns, algos).
  • Experience building modern UIs on a cloud platform (Azure, AWS).
  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills..

Nice to Have:

  • Solid understanding of ASP.NET CORE and .NET CORE 2.1+
  • Experience with source control and CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, Git).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $55.85 to $62.06 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
