Job Description:
We are hiring a Creative Director for a leading entrepreneur in the Los Angeles area. Must be able to work on-site and travel as needed. Along with having a strong Creative Director portfolio demonstrating marketing campaigns, logo development, fashion launches, album art, live events, and more.
- Lead the creative direction for multiple projects at once across different brands / entities within the organization
- Research and predict trends relevant to current and new audiences; maintain a pulse on creative trends in digital marketing and culture, especially in hip-hop, and a creative sensibility that extends across content genres
- Utilize a diverse artistic toolkit to execute the creative direction on projects such as marketing campaigns, logo development, joint ventures with brand partners, fashion launches, album art, live events, and more
- Develop big, cut through ideas that get results and articulate / sell these big ideas to senior leadership across the brands and entities in our organization and beyond
- Develop proposals for multi-media extensions that extend campaigns across our organization’s ecosyste and brands
- Drive cross-functional relationship building to ensure alignment on deliverable quality and creative direction
- Manage any full life-cycle of all creative projects; including applicable team members, contractors or consultants.
- Find and develop working relationships with new creative and production vendors, as well as strengthening partnerships with current vendors, to conceive / execute creative
- Quickly learn the design aesthetic and artistic preferences of our company’s top leader(s) to expertly navigate and adjust the final outputs of projects / campaigns, as necessary

2) How do you handle honest feedback? Can you handle being in a brutally honest environment?
3) Can you travel for months at a time to the East Coast? Can you work 12 hours days?
