Role: Creative Director 

Years of Experience: 10+ years of creative agency or corporate in-house creative exp.

Start Date: 1/18/23 – 9/15/23

Assignment Contract Length: 8 months; first 26 weeks at 35-40 hrs/wk; remaining 6 weeks at 10-15 hrs/wk

Time Zone: Remote okay, PST time zone required

Pay Rate: Up to 90 hourly  DOE

Job Description:

Our Client's  Cross Channel Marketing Team (XCM) is looking for a Creative Director to support the Retail & Events team on our annual Holiday Toy Catalog project. You will be providing creative direction to a team of art directors, copywriters, and designers on a 104-page book and digital book, which additionally will be versioned into Spanish.

Job Description/ Requirements:

  • Direct and fully develop concept, layouts, copy direction, overall story and tone. Hold creative integrity of book when versioning into Spanish.
  • Responsible for a fully developed concept, executed within the toy book as illustrations, playful copy, and strong layouts. Development of creative through 3 rounds of review, direct prepress color work prior to printing.
  • Experience with creative development for large-scale print projects
  • Portfolio with strong examples of creative direction with high-performing team, Epson color proofing, color markups, print experience.

Additional notes:

Adobe Creative Suite
Previous retail/ or Amazon experience a plus
Ideal past experience: creative direction for a print catalog with a playful tone.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is  $80 to 90 hourly DOE.
