We’re looking for a software engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the success of our Quality Engineering department . As a quality software engineer, you will be responsible for integrating/harnessing our shared tech and leveraging it to build quality focused player automation and tools. While the role does provide a generous amount of autonomy with the project work, you will also be part of a team that is responsible for making cross project improvements to our automation and tools that will advance our capabilities and increase the impact of the team’s work and long-term success of the studio.
Core Responsibilities
- Creating and integrating shared tooling and quality focused automation into the title.
- Working with the Quality Project Coordinator and Leads to identify new areas where automation and tooling can assist and optimize the wider testing strategy.
- Partnering with the studio engineering team to detect opportunities to advance the impact that the automated tooling can have on game quality.
- Mentoring other members of the team to develop their skills with automated testing in order to foster a culture of quality.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in automated integration testing, Unit testing, and test-driven development
- Clear communication with effective collaboration skills
- High competency in either C++ or C# with some experience in the other language
- Ability to work autonomously, solve complex problems and debug issues that arise
Education
· Degree preferred, not required
