Job Description:

Our financial client's Single-Family Servicing Portfolio Analytics (SPA) team is currently seeking a Senior Analyst who will support Servicing Portfolio Analytics data management and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) & Re-Performing Loan (RPL) deal data quality. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, multitasking and can hustle.

Our Impact:
• Providing accurate loan data for the pool of loans included in the RPL & NPL transactions.
• Reducing credit losses, improving servicing performance, and meeting client/customer needs.

Your Impact:
• RPL/NPL data validation & quality control with minimal supervision.
• Manage all incoming data files from internal and external.
• Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data.
• Develop/Maintain internal databases and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity.
• Design, prototype, develop, test, and document existing/new ETLs, and related components; make recommendations for related functions that result in a more cost-effective product delivery.
• Execution of regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Analysis of data to provide actionable insights for the business.
• Assisting business areas with their information needs.

• At least two years of related data management/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometric or other quantitative disciplines.
• Strong skills in SQL & Python.
• Exceptional quantitative and data analytics skills.
• Experience in SAS & Unix & ETL tool & Autosys is a plus.

Client Description:

Location: Hybrid - Onsite immediately in McLean on Tuesday through Thursday.
Must Haves:

  1. Python & SQL are absolute must haves. SAS, ETL, and Informatica are all strong preferences.
  2. Previous Freddie/Fannie and/or mortgage experience is a plus.
