Approved Remote Locations: Fremont, CA, Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA, Houston, TX, Los Angeles, CA, and San Diego, CA.

The main function of the communications manager is to assist teams in the analysis of current communications, identification of gaps, development of plans to enable more effective and consistent communication efforts, and establish best practices across Infra Data Center teams. Ideal candidate has the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, facilitation/workshop acumen, and possess strong influencing and consensus building skills.
Candidate should be strategic and creative thinker, have strong program management and process improvement experience, and be skilled at managing relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis on current communication efforts and their alignment with strategic goals
  • Identify gaps and build improvement plans to close gaps/increase efficiency using a variety of communication vehicles, including internal wikis, playbooks, digests, etc.
  • Develop self-service playbooks to build awareness of best practices and drive their adoption
  • Collaborate with partnerships teams to create and execute strategic internal communications plans for global data center teams
  • Program manage communications initiatives from conception to completion
  • Build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams


  • 7+ years of corporate communications or strategic communications consulting experience
  • Experience in supporting and influencing executives, developing and executing communications plans
  • Experience developing plans to address identified gaps in current approaches, and driving their implementation
  • Experience in leveraging industry best practices to customize solutions for cross functional teams/environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong background in business operations/project management desired
  • Experience in overall process improvement efforts related to communications a plus
  • Analytical problem-solver who can think quick on your feet to find solutions
