Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate powerful consumer insights, develop breakthrough innovation solutions and lead the development of new products, services, experiences and business model concepts
  • Collaborate with designers, technologists and business managers to envision how design unlocks new business opportunities
  • Involvement through the product development lifecycle from strategy and concepting through to design and implementation to ensure that all decisions are centered around human needs and aligned with strategic business insights/goals
  • Design and be responsible for generative, formative and evaluative research activities, from traditional focus groups to digital diaries and ethnographies, to more agile testing methodologies
  • Craft and optimize concise and compelling innovation prototypes grounded in strategic objectives and insights backed by data
  • Partner with any external agencies and vendors to support business requirements as needed
  • Develop and manage entire project timelines while ensuring compliance, good financial performance, business partner satisfaction, and high deliverable quality

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in design or related field or significant equivalent professional experience; an advanced degree is appreciated but not required
  • 7 - 9 years of design leadership and related experience
  • Persistent and diligent attention to detail, while maintaining overall understanding of projects
  • Validated results leading multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Proven experience guiding business partners through the design process
  • Possess a design thinking mentality
  • Excellent visual, written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Conversant in Adobe CSS, Microsoft Office, Miro/Mural, Sigma/Figma and Apple Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment with strong problem-solving skills is critical
