Job Description:

Project Overview:

  • As Global Operations & Strategy Lead, you will be part of Social leadership working across all platform priorities coordinating with the global, regional and local social teams. You will have a birds eye view of the social organization across the globe, building and maintaining an agile operating model that focuses teams and generates more efficiency and effectiveness. You’re a team player who navigates operational complexity with curiosity and positivity and have strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • You will be the strategic lead who helps our team optimize & drive innovative use of social across platforms and coordinate with the global, regional and local social teams to drive greater business impact towards OKRs across Always-On and Social Initiative campaigns. You will work cross functionally with Strategy and Operations and Insights and Measurement to guide social prioritization and measurement, respectively, and hone the processes for greater efficiency.  You’ll oversee social escalations and work with stakeholders to manage Crisis Response. In this high visibility role within Program Marketing leadership, you’ll influence change & growth through XFN & exec-facing comms, best practice playbooks & roadshows.
  • You have a strong analytical background to understand social content performance, and can help build frameworks to support the social business. You work with GRL stakeholders across social to surface data-driven insights and influence change. You have a background in hands-on social management. You manage agencies to deliver efficient and effective work. 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a social strategy to help Social and Influencer core capabilities scale & continuously optimize with more efficiency and effectiveness to drive business outcomes.
  • Build a dynamic infrastructure to maximize global, regional, local social marketing resources with more agility and speed from local campaigns all the way up to global priorities
  • Align social and influencer KPIs and ongoing scorecard across global, regional and local and design the necessary workflows and processes to achieve business impact.
  • Streamline XFN & external partnerships including influencer to communicate how social works & deliver economies of scale
  • Work closely with the global, regional and local social teams by creating systems, tools, resources that distribute and elevate insights, social and influencer excellence and niche expertise 
  • Operational management and oversight of social COE budget, agencies, and contracts

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Support globally inclusive social operating model that focuses teams on efficiency and effectiveness to drive positive engagement with Gen Z. 
  • Partner with Strategy + Operations and Insight + Measurement to develop and scale integrated processes for the global social teams, including setting KPIs using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Contextualize success, guide strategic recommendations, and build growth strategies via cross-functional and exec facing comms, best practice playbooks and roadshows, 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 
  • More than 10 years of experience working within global social media, influencer or digital marketing.
  • Experience in social and/or social analytics.
  • Experience managing social for a global media/entertainment brand or public figure.
  • Experience with social measurement tools and datasets like Crimson Hexagon, ZignalLabs, Sysomos, Sprinklr, SimilarWeb, Netbase, Quintly.

Nice to have Skills (not required):

  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Experience with social planning, measurement and navigating operational complexity.
  • Strategic and hands-on experience with all major social media platforms.
  • Ability to keep up with the pulse of industry trends and cultural conversations and have a strategic.
  • POV on how it informs our work Experience collaborating in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies
