Job Description

Tik Tok Creator Role candidates should have strong creative concepting and video skills, as well as a knowledge of the social media and influencer space and a clear passion for internet culture. Candidates should be on the pulse of what’s next and trends within social and digital and have a genuine passion for TikTok. They will work with the creative team, brand Community Managers and the Social Listening and Analytics team to identify culturally relevant trends and brand opportunities and default to action - creating prototypes and consumer ready content. The candidate must be able to write copy independently and be comfortable producing quality images and social video content both on their own and in a team environment.

This is a 3 month contractor role with opportunity for extension.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, plan, and execute media content for Tiktok, and other social media channels (IG, Twitter)
  • Responsible for creative ideation and production in response to real time newsroom trends and cultural moments for brand social media channels
  • Moderate UGC and ignite and develop social conversations in partnerships with CMs and other team members
  • Work with SL&A to identify key trends that are related to brand identity
  • Collaborate with paid media and PR team to help boost content
  • Need to be able to come to NYC office (located in Soho area of Manhattan) at least 50% of the time.

The ideal candidate:

  • Candidate must have strong creative and video production skills and a marketing background to act as both a content creator and strategic marketer and create content that is true to brand
  • Must be able to understand and execute against brand strategy and playbook
  • Candidates will need to provide portfolio and/or links to existing creative examples
  • Is familiar with the social media landscape and varying trends
  • Loves and thrives in a fast-paced environment and defaults to action
  • Is self-starting, action oriented, and has good communication skills with cross-functional partners
  • Must have demonstrated experience creating entertaining TikTok videos
  • Ideally, they have experience with Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Etc)
  • Is collaborative, and proactive
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
