Job Description:

We are seeking an Automotive Retail Digital Consultant with experience in the Automotive industry to partner with our luxury automotive client's Dealer Network on providing the ultimate automotive omni-channel shopping experience.

**This position is a salaried consultant role which includes paid time off and benefits.**


Responsibilities:

  • Work hand in hand with field and dealer leadership to deliver customized consulting that aligns the entire nationwide dealer network and brings consistency to the customer sales and after sales experience, regardless of how or where consumers choose to shop (online, in-store, remote). 
  • Responsible for consulting on Digital Presence (Website, Google Business Page, Social Presence), Reputation, Lead Generation / Management Processes, Phone Call Processes
  • Consult the dealerships on how to improve:
    • Website layout, menu navigation, optimization, conversion
    • Mobile website experience
    • Google Business Page Optimization (pages for Sales, Service, Body Shop/Collision Center, etc. including call tracking numbers)
    • Digital advertising (SEM – Search Engine Marketing, Paid Social, Video, OTT – Over The Top) for both Sales and Service
    • Digital Retail shopping experience & branding
    •  Lead Generation tools
    • Phone Call Generating tools & process consultation through CallSource (improve connectivity, improve appointment setting, improve getting customer to correct department)
    • Lead Management Processes (Personalized Quality Responses, Text follow-up where appropriate, Follow-up processes, using customer’s preferred method of contact, using video reply tools, etc.)
    • CRM Tool Audits, Workplans, Reporting
    • View, understand, analyze, and track all available analytics
  • Omnichannel Sales Process
    • Picking up where a customer left off online once they engage with the dealership.
    • Consistent utilization of Digital Retailing showroom tool
    • Accessory sales through Digital Retailing tool
    • Finance, Protection & Warranty Product sales through Digital Retailing tool (i.e. The Company Care)
    • Adoption and sustainment of the Company Program
    • Support of industry-leading e-commerce initiatives, including e-Deposit and Online Buying
    • Deliver process and tools training for CRM, Digital Retailing, DMS, Trade-in, Chat, etc.
  • Network Consistency 
    • Maintain relationships and regular communication with The Company HQ and field personnel, as designated
    • Utilize Salesforce reporting to recap dealer meetings, including observations, analysis, action items and follow-up visit
    • Follow-up with internal stakeholders, region teams, and dealers to seek answers, source information, and provide solutions

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years OEM Experience or 5+ years in a Digital Marketing or Digital Retailing vendor role or 5+ years of dealership retail experience with knowledge of website administration, lead management, BDC operations, sales, and finance operations.

Skills:

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication and listening skills
  • Knowledge of process improvement principles and process implementation across multiple departments and levels
  • Conceptual thinking using creativity, strategy and logic, with ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex concepts
  • Knowledge of instructor-led training delivery, web-based training applications and assessment
  • Personal computer skills in the major MS Office applications with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Customer-centric attitude with knowledge of or ability to learn emerging technologies and digital tools
  • Understanding of omnichannel processes and application of digital tools in the automotive retail space

Work Flexibility:

The position requires 75% travel in region; occasional travel beyond
assigned region.
