Aquent Studios x Adobe is a custom-built creative agency partnership that provides scalability with world-class talent to Adobe’s in-house studio and web team. This collaboration creates exciting opportunities to work with Aquent Studios and impact millions of customers, showcasing Adobe’s products via innovative storytelling and unique visual experiences.

Job Description: UI/Visual Designer, SEO – Studio Team

The opportunity:

We’re looking for a UI/Visual Designer, SEO with UX capabilities to join our Aquent Studios x Adobe team in support of Adobe.com—one of the most heavily trafficked corporate websites in the world, the front door for the majority of their customers, and a primary revenue generator for Adobe.

The UI/Visual Designer in this role will focus their efforts primarily on how-to/publishing initiatives, partnering with Studio copywriters and SEO team members to drive strategic SEO goals across Adobe Acrobat (Document Cloud) and Creative Cloud product segments. While ranking high in Google is the priority, this designer needs to be a self-starter who can make an article feel thoughtful and considered through visuals and page layout (working in Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Jira).

We're looking for a designer who is able to look at the big picture from a user experience, technology and business standpoint—as well as think outside the box to help deliver compelling experiences for Adobe visitors and customers.

 What you need to succeed:

●           4+ years of relevant in-house or agency experience.

●           Wireframing, web page layout, art direction, design and production experience a must.

●           Firm understanding of the UX Design process and user flows.

●           High level of proficiency in Adobe XD, Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Cloud programs.

●           Strong interpersonal, written and presentation communication skills to effectively present ideas—both verbally and visually.

●           Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce multiple

highly polished and professional finished works under tight timelines.

●           Willingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe.com experience

             design team and Adobe overall.

Required Skills/Responsibilities:

●           Produce detailed visuals of step-by-step product instructions with detailed specifications, adhering to established Adobe design patterns, systems and guidelines.

●           Pitch ideas to internal teams and stakeholders and explain the rationale behind design decisions. Given the multidisciplinary nature of user experience, this designer needs to be able to work collaboratively with other designers, product managers, marketing teams, and engineering—sharing opinions and clearly communicating goals with confidence to help inform decisions.

●           Demonstrate analytical and technical skills with a clear knowledge of web best practices and designing responsive digital experiences for the web. [Knowledge of underlying web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and working with content management systems such as Jira, Adobe Experience Manager and Workfront are fundamental requirements for this role.]

●           Preferred : understanding of UX Design for SEO, but not mandatory.

●           The Adobe brand is recognized and respected around the world. Maintaining its integrity depends on a clear understanding of Adobe brand guidelines and adhering to them in all design work.

●           Experience designers aim to improve people’s lives, so the ability to fully understand the mindset of users—their frustrations, hopes, abilities, reasoning, and goals—is essential. Practicing empathy begins with user research and testing and extends to understanding the behaviors behind analytics and data.

Required with application:

●           A proven track record that includes a portfolio of great UI and experience design that meet user needs, product requirements, and business goals.
