Graphic Designer/Production Designer
Work on requests for art assets and communicate with teams to meet deadlines, product needs, and quality standards.
Create visual design assets that align to established guidelines and brand. This may include creating illustrations, banners, enhancing product screenshots, product attributes, and other visual design assets.
Update assets to ensure consistency with newest Windows releases.
Ensure cohesion with Windows design styles and other styles.
Collaborate with the video team to coordinate visual and animation assets as needed.
May assist with updating guidelines and evolving design styles as needed.
3-5 years of work related experience required. Must have strong production art and visual design skills with the ability to design quality graphics and user interfaces. Any experience with Windows design or understanding the windows design library a plus. Excellent communication and project management skills required. Ability to motivate others and to work under constant deadline constraints is required. Must have the ability to understand technology issues and communicate information effectively. Proficiency in current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages (i.e. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign CS). Ability to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of typography is important. Portfolio review required. Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area required. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
