Our client is looking for a dynamic candidate who has specific experience working with Direct Mail as a channel and are familiar with direct response marketing. There are two main components to the responsiblities of this position; Project and Process Management (of Direct Mail). The description below breaks down the expectations of what a day-to-day might look like as you navigate and succeed in this role.
*Support moderate to large complexity workflows to map out schedules across multiple teams, ensure communication and manage through to delivery with very little oversight from leadership.
*Manage multiple project plans in a complex and dynamic environment, revising and ensuring dependencies and risks are captured and communicated.
*Shepherd marketing creative through our digital execution process while ensuring strategic intent aligns with execution/delivery at every step.
*Develop a deep understanding of best practices and mandatories for outbound digital marketing channels such as email, SMS, mobile app, and website.
*Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive program efforts.
*Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure marketing initiatives deliver on intent.
*Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent program/project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage/prioritize work in a dynamic complex environment.
*Partnering with cross-functional teams to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
*Continuously optimize workflow for greater efficiency (resource efficiency and speed to market).
*Implement and manage new tools and processes.
*Help maintain documentation, train others on the process, collect feedback and iterate to improve.
*Facilitate a well-managed culture throughout MS Marketing by assisting in QA, QC and risk management. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time.
*Coordinate alignment between multiple up and down stream stakeholder groups including Business, cross marketing LOB’s, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Brand and other internal and external partners.
*Manage capacity on multiple internal partner team backlogs to ensure marketing development tasks are executed within desired go-to-market timelines.
*Research, identify, and launch platform solutions for MS Marketing initiatives to evolve beyond MVP.
*Guide the organization through change, flawlessly executing processes improvements and new initiatives that improve business efficiency and drive results.
*Maintain a state of “audit readiness” for the MS Marketing team and the work we have in market.
*Create and modify processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line.
*Research new processes and tools on an ongoing basis and bring thought leadership to the team on how to improve our operations. Become the in-house expert and evangelist for MS Operations.
*Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
*Experience with A/B Testing is a MUST
*3-5 years of experience in Project Management, agency or client side
*3-5 years of experience working with interdisciplinary teams including art directors, copywriters, strategists, analysts and marketers
*Deep understanding of process management and project management methodologies
*Proven experience producing large volume campaigns and managing a high volume of current workstreams (expert multi-tasker is a MUST)
*Ability to use critical thinking to assess efficiencies and problem solve to find a better approach.
*Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders
*3+ year’s experience in financial services marketing (or another highly regulated industry)
*Understanding and experience with digital execution
*Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and understanding of taxonomy and workflow for organizing and categorizing assets
