Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, Marketing leads brand and product marketing strategy/activity across assigned licensed titles within the company's global portfolio by partnering with licensees to deliver world-class campaigns.

You will own a significant portfolio of mobile and console games within the business and manage a team to help each licensee successfully create/execute go-to-market plans that build brand awareness, engage consumers, and drive conversions through thoughtful brand storytelling, data-driven insights, and creative innovation – all grounded in a consumer-centric integrated marketing approach.

You will also play an integral role in overseeing brand initiatives to build the brand, managing portfolio-wide marketing campaigns, and delivering processes/solutions that enable our team to deliver growth at scale.

You are a rock-star marketer, influential presence, inspirational leader, and outstanding collaborator. You will report to the Director, Marketing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Own and manage a line of business within the global company portfolio and ensure the successful launch and live operations of priority titles in partnership with licensees and internal partners

• Act as a thought partner and day-to-day lead with licensees in reviewing marketing materials, providing insightful and strategic guidance/feedback, and managing/approving go-to-market plans, creative assets, and marketing activations

• Provide category thought leadership with licensees and guide them strategically across all facets of brand management, product marketing, user acquisition, and social/community activities (inclusive of market research, consumer insights, product positioning, messaging, creative, promotions, distribution, etc.) to elevate products and campaigns

• Be a strong brand steward for company brands, especially in providing guidance/feedback to licensees to deliver on-brand marketing and creative executions that are both innovative and differentiated, while remaining true to the product

• Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights with licensees to identify market opportunities that inform and help shape player personas/target audiences, positioning, go-to-market plans, creative development, and campaign activations

• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive market, business opportunities, etc.

• Analyze performance of marketing campaigns with licensees regularly to identify areas of optimization and make actionable recommendations

• Implement industry best practices with licensees and strive to uphold benchmarks across all marketing campaigns

• Create and deliver on innovative and performance driven Marketing campaigns that extend reach, increase awareness, and result in meaningful brand deposits

• Cultivate strong relationships with licensees to facilitate communication and collaboration

• Serve as the internal brand champion for licensees to help garner support for plans across the company

• Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams (Production, PR, Franchise, Legal and more) to leverage their expertise throughout all stages of product development and to ensure alignment and consensus for a successful launch and/or continued live operations

• Collaborate with regional teams to implement global strategy via impactful local campaigns

• Present marketing updates to Executives and broader Games and Franchise Teams

• Create marketing pitch decks, presentation materials, internal plans, and post-mortems

• Lead and mentor a team to achieve professional and personal developmental goals


• 7+ years of experience in Marketing (preferably product marketing), combined with 4+ years of working in Online/Media Entertainment (preferably within the gaming industry) and 3+ years of managing direct report(s)

• Goal-oriented strategic/creative thinker with a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

• Demonstrated success in several areas of marketing, including brand management, product marketing, digital marketing, user acquisition, and social/community

• Excellent analytical skills; ability to translate qualitative/quantitative data into actionable insights that drive results

• Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to influence, collaborate, and “sell” strategies to a wide audience set

• Have a strong understanding of industry insights, standard benchmark KPIs, and best practices

• Resourceful problem-solver with a can-do attitude; works well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for the entertainment industry with a focus on interactive and gaming strongly preferred

Additional Information This role will initially be remote and transitioning to hybrid with candidates needed with commuting distance of Burbank/Glendale or San Francisco.

• Working knowledge of 3rd party tools used to source app market data and competitive insights

• Proficiency in KeyNote/PowerPoint; the ability to craft a narrative visually
