Job Description:

Our Healthcare client is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their creative team on freelance basis - hours will vary based on projects. The Graphic Designer works independently and collaboratively to create consumer-friendly content and lead the design efforts from concept through production. This role supports all visual concept development from start to finish for client and product development projects. The Graphic Designer participates as needed in internal business partner meetings to set expectations to ensure the scope and budget is met throughout the project.

The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role:

  • Develop creative, consumer-friendly design concepts that meet the business objectives of identified projects within defined brand standards.
  • Understand and drive the integration of graphic design that supports and enhances the key messages and overall communication objectives for consumer communications.
  • Partner with other roles, including writers, designers, creative directors and UX/UI as well as business team leads in the development of specific graphic design concepts and other creative elements for consumer engagement efforts, Product Development, and Account Management.
  • Present creative designs to internal clients.


  • Strong design skills with a portfolio of superior work in a variety of media
  • Must have an excellent eye for typography, layout and branding
  • Familiarity with web and print production (formatting, mechanicals, etc.)
  • Ability to fluidly move across touch points to develop fully integrated campaigns.
  • Ability to collaborate with other designers and developers to complete projects
  • Detail-oriented with a critical eye for proofreading, color accuracy and sizing
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience with Adobe XD, Premier or After Effects is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Primarily: PPT and Word)
  • Experience or exposure with Figma and/or Sketch is a nice to have
  • Business-to-business and consumer market experience
  • Designing for web, social, digital outputs as well as traditional outputs
  • Skill in presentation of graphic design work and superior ability to communicate rationale behind overall design and individual design elements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with multiple clients at once.

Required Work Experience

  • 4+ years related work experience
  • Experience as a graphic design professional in DTC and B2B2C space, ideally in health care and/or health and wellness

Required Education

  • Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
  • Graphic design or equivalent experience
