Job Description:

Our large financial services company is looking for a Product Manager for a long term role. 


This product owner will play a lead role in development of our strategic roadmap to scale adoption and prioritize additional high-value API use cases across the team.  He/she will be a passionate about driving automation and customization for our client with experience launching digital features in an agile environment. He/she will possess thought leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills, and will have a proven record of operating within a matrixed corporate environment and managing a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities
Develop API product and enhancement roadmap based on client feedback
Work with Marketing and Client Managers to develop client-facing value proposition to drive adoption and Global Commercial Teams to design holistic commercial strategy for APIs and automation
Communicate technical requirements to cross-functional stakeholder, including engineers, clients and executive leaders
Ability to work in an agile environment and break down complex requirements into right sized features consumable by an agile scrum team
Communicate with leadership and stakeholders on progress, road blocks, and escalations
Partner with teams across the enterprise to leverage Blue Box capabilities and accelerate delivery
Key Qualifications
PMPO certification or similar experience in product and/or financial services preferred
Knowledge of API functionality and thought leadership around point of arrival solutions
Results-driven mindset with the ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities in a matrixed Corporate environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, knowledge of internal processes a plus
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
5+ years of professional experience in product development and/or technology
Experience working with rapid and iterative development teams strongly desired
Certification in Agile Product Ownership
Technical certifications a plus
