Job Description:

This is a remote full-time hourly position and includes subsidized health benefits and matching 401k.

Experience writing for a sales audience is required and the ability to both write reports, blog posts and educational content is required.

Do you want to support one of the fastest growing CRM cloud-based tech companies in the world? Our client's creative talent combines high-level craftsmanship, strategic smarts, and business IQ to bring engaging concepts to life. As a Writer supporting the Sales Cloud team, you would be joining some of the brightest creatives to collaborate in a multi-faceted work environment. Come create remarkable work that inspires customers, attracts prospects, and delivers results.

We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and well-rounded content marketer to write and edit content for a technology-based sales audience.

If you’re the right candidate, then storytelling, clear communication, and organizational skills are in your DNA. Your colleagues would describe you as resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and open to acting on constructive feedback.

More specifically, you have experience with report writing and are comfortable handling/understanding data. You can look at statistics and recognize themes, underlying messages, and key takeaways — and you can express these clearly to an audience interested in quickly gathering information about the latest trends in sales.

Additionally, you have experience concepting and drafting instructional/educational content, like training modules for new hires. You can translate complicated tasks and responsibilities into fun, easy-to-understand language and craft concrete steps that can be easily followed to task or job completion.

You probably also have your company’s style guide memorized – and you have a sixth sense for when a piece of content isn’t striking the right tone. You’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders, so you’re comfortable with collaboration across teams and disciplines.

Write and edit original content for the sales audience, including blogs, e-books, guides, educational content, and social media copy focused on Salesforce-curated survey data

As needed, interview customers, sales influencers, and internal experts to tell their unique, inspiring stories
Uphold voice and tone in every piece of content
Collaborate with product marketing, creative, campaigns, social media, customer marketing, and program management as key stakeholders
Meet fast-paced deadlines

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or professional writing/editing at a tech company (or within a similar fast-paced industry)
Tech industry knowledge and interest, particularly within CRM and enterprise sales applications
Experience with writing research reports and familiarity with data analysis and the survey process

Write and edit educational content
Creative thinker who can not only identify gaps or opportunities, but also offers ways to address them. When you encounter obstacles, you find an effective solution with a positive mindset.
Excessively organized. Your calendar is your best friend, and while leading meetings with stakeholders, you make sure their time is well spent.
Proven ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders: editors, data experts, agency reps, project managers, and creative teams
Ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly
Social media skills a plus
Experience working with Kapost, Quip, and Wordpress also a plus
