We are hiring for a contract position for our 0 → 1 Youth (Teens) Experiences team.

  • Design experiences that help teens engage, express themselves and connect on the product, thinking end-to-end across surfaces.
  • Take broad, conceptual prompts and insights and help turn them into concrete design proposals.
  • Work with designers and project stakeholders to solicit feedback to improve the work and drive projects forward.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members to implement, test, and iterate on builds for iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate with UX research and content designers to produce designs and prototypes for use in research sessions.
  • Collaborate with partner teams within the Product Connections team and across product.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Deep knowledge of Figma, particularly components, libraries, auto layout, and plugins
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time well
  • Proficiency with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions
  • Experience in building and shipping applications or software
  • Interaction design experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A portfolio showcasing strengths in product thinking, visual design, and interaction design
  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping end-to-end mobile product experiences or features
  • Proficiency in using prototyping tools to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work
  • Ability to represent work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with 0-1 products

  • Bachelor's degree in Product/Interaction Design or a related field required.
