Marketing Operations is a small and mighty team that is growing rapidly in 2022. They are the owners of Marketing Ways of Working, Process Mapping, Tools, Budget & Headcount and Creative Operations. Their scope spans all x-functional teams within marketing and other teams. If there is a process that needs to be figured out, they are typically the first team asked to help drive clarity and map out R&Rs and a clear way of working. It’s their job in marketing operations to ensure the processes across the Marketing org are consistent and streamlined.

As the Marketing Operations Manager for ETS, Hardlines, Home and Apparel, you will be critical to ensuring ways of working within the Client Solutions team are streamlined and optimized.

The Client Solutions team is responsible for seasonal and category integrated marketing campaigns providing custom marketing solutions to our top suppliers/clients that amplify Marketing campaigns. In order to develop these campaigns successfully, they need to have clear ways of working mapped out with our cross functional teams spanning marketing, Site, reative, Account Planning & Sales...and the list goes on.

You will work closely with the Director of ETS, Hardlines, Home and Apparel to map out process, ways of working and become an integral partner to ensure process and R&Rs are established within that group and across that full team. You will also partner with your Marketing Operations peer in Food and Consumables to ensure the processes are consistent across all the groups.

This is not a project management role as you will not be managing any “projects” or campaigns, but a role focused on operations and way or working to drive consistency and help the Client Solutions teams streamline the way they deliver to the Sales org.

This role will report to the Senior Marketing Operations Manager and will work closely to map and iterate on these processes.


-Loves process and thinking through ways of working in an agile model

-Has experience with complex timelines with multiple stakeholders

-High EQ-read the room/zoom

-You have project managed campaigns before, so you understand the milestones, but can see bigger picture here to see how timelines and processes intersect

Ideally this candidate comes from Advertising Agencies working on complex marketing campaigns. Also could come from an E-Commerce company or big Brand/Marketing organization in a company where complex marketing process had to be mapped out.

Core Responsibilities:

Driving collaboration and efficient ways of working between category strategists and integrated planners within Client Solutions

Establish R&Rs between the Omni Capabilities team & Client Solutions team as it pertains to Seasonals, W+ Etc. Advocate and train teams on those clear R&Rs early and often.

Ensure process maps back to a holistic process and way of working across Client Solutions

Gather learnings from pilots and iterate on process. Work in an agile model.

Create a clear DACIN model for teams to drive clarity on R&Rs

Own the overall planning timeline for all ETS, Hardlines, Home and Apparel projects and ensure  is kicking off key milestones in time.

Work closely with the Project Manager and Operations team to ensure timelines are integrated into a holistic schedule.

Ensure teams are using new project management tool to it’s potential.


Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience in project management, operations and process mapping within a marketing org.

Has experience in change management

Knowledge of creative marketing campaign process and has worked with creative teams or agencies in the past

Extremely detail oriented and organized in thought and execution

Ability to set and communicate clear expectations

Ability to understand and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work effectively and achieve results in ambiguous situations
