Job Description:

Project Overview:

  • We follow a simple but vital premise in the User Experience group: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." We're passionately interested in our users and strive to learn everything we can about their goals and needs, attitudes and emotions to help define the products and experiences we create. The User Experience team is a critical driving force behind gathering these insights and then using them to inspire and inform design. 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes.
  • Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
  • Advocate for the prioritization of user-centered design changes, refinements, and improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience using Figma
  • 4-5 years of UX Design experience required.
  • Portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrates experiences crafting usable digital interfaces.
  • Ability to drive UX work and collaborate independently with cross-functional partners (Eng, PM) with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or prototypes.
  • Ability to advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.

Nice to have Skills (not required)

  • Interactive Prototyping
  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • Portfolio has shown evidence of work experience in designing for complex user interfaces (e.g. financial tools).
