Job Description:

We are hiring a Sr. level Designer with Product Graphics and development experience for our Global sports apparel brand in the Beaverton, OR area. 

Top Skills:
1. Industry experience – background in fashion/apparel industry
2. Strong and divers portfolio displaying apparel work, illustration, typography and composition/layout structure.
3. Leadership
Ideally working from campus, but since it’s a short term engagement, we can look into talent who are remote.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
• Minimum 5-7 years of graphic design experience in studio, agency or in-house setting
• Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands, and changes
• Strong leadership skills
• Demonstrated passion and understanding of trend and visual culture
• Elevated design skills in type, illustration and image creation
• Knowledge of apparel product creation
• Knowledge in product development process – creating mechanicals, schematics and tech packs
• Expert communication and presentation skills using a variety of formats – Keynote, Miro, Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to seek out opportunities to elevate apparel graphics though craft and construction
• Proficient in Adobe CC and comfortable working within new digital spaces
• Passion for discovering new talent and points of influence for a global brand

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This teammate embodies expert communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into focused, consumer-right design narratives
• Setting up creative direction with clear objectives, briefing the team and overseeing work.
• Working closely with cross functional teams – cut & sew, material, color, PLMs
• This role requires passion and creativity, with focus to see designs through the product creation process
• A typical day could include everything from creating visual centers and building design presentations, to attending fit sessions and reviewing prototypes with our development partners

• You will be guiding the creative through the design season while working with a team of designers, developers, product managers, and merchants to deliver creative in line with the Design Ethos
