Our client, a global retailer, is looking for Product Designer to join their Product Experience Team that focuses on experiences for customers! 

Out the team: 
The Experience Design (XD) team, positioned within the Customer Office, is an integral part of Product Experience Design, a team that designs and implements innovative, human, end-to-end experiences for our customers. We’re customer-obsessed and grounded in research.

Position Summary/Job Description:
As an Experience Designer in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) space, you’ll partner with teams of Content Designers, Researchers, Product Managers and engineers to create compelling experiences for our customers.

Your role in this highly collaborative environment is pivotal in shaping how the company communicates with its customers throughout the transactional moments of their purchasing experience. You will be responsible for establishing, evolving and maintaining the visual language and design systems of all transactional communications, including email, SMS and RCS.

Our diverse scope of work impacts customer experiences across web, app, retail, in-home and communications.

Primary Responsibilities Associated with This Role Are:
• Partner with Content Designers, Product Managers, Engineering, and business stakeholders to create solutions that align customer and business needs.
• A strong understanding of email design best practices.
• A passion for creating and maintaining design systems.
• Foster and participate in a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Provide insight into our current capabilities and functionality across all communications and other customer touchpoints.
• Leverage customer research, site metrics and usability findings to support assertions, make recommendations and drive strategy.
• Create clear, concise, and compelling communications that foster customer relationships.
• Deliver artifacts that support work efforts as well as ensure standard design practices and consistent experiences.
• Advance our practice by contributing to the content style guide and design system, driving adoption of content standards within and outside of XD.
• Promote the practice of Systems Design. Be ready to show its value at every turn.
• Present high-level solutions and strategies to stakeholders and leadership.

Desired Skills Include:
• At least 2 years working as an embedded product designer alongside product management and engineering
• At least 2 years of experience as an Experience Designer or 6 or more years in a Design related role (e.g., Product Designer, Information Architect, Visual Designer, Interaction Designer, Copywriter, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Experience Design principles and deliverables (i.g., designs, wireframes, prototypes, etc.).
• Advanced to expert skills with tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Mural, Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, Balsamiq, OmniGraffle, etc.
• Extensive history demonstrating human centered design, interaction design, information architecture, visual/graphic design, usability standards and best practices.
• Ability to present designs, drive consensus and negotiate trade-offs effectively
• History of creative problem-solving and issue resolution
• Ability to work through complex design solutions and understand the technology behind those solutions
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
• History of proactive communication, storytelling and interpersonal skills
• History of balancing the agile work environment and iterative product development with maintaining a cohesive and holistic view of the overall customer journey
