Overall Responsibilities: 

We’re looking for a Designer to help craft and launch industry-leading user experiences.. In this role, you’ll design thoughtful, multi-modal experiences for productivity features including Calendar, Reminders, Notes, Lists, Alarms & Timers. You’ll be responsible for designing end-to-end user journeys that help millions of users stay on track, get things done, in addition to supporting innovation across core product features. 

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Help the UX team design and iterate on  interaction flows, and logic for user journeys for productivity features on the product across multiple surfaces 
  • Collaborate with conversation designers, product managers, researchers, engineers, and other members of the UX team to strategize and design end-to-end user journeys.
  • Hand off design specifications to engineers to build and test, providing UX guidance and feedback. 

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)

  • Excellent problem solving skills and familiarity with voice-technology
  • Translate product requirements into user flows/designs
  • Strong & Demonstrable visual design skills, fluency on best usability and accessability practices on multiple devices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to influence
  • Tools: Figma, decision trees, vision decks, user flows, prototypes

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but are not essential in the role)

  • Product ownership
  • Protopie or similar prototyping software
  • Motion design

Candidate Profile

  • Designers familiar with Voice assistants and multi-modal interactions (touch, gesture, voice, etc). 
  • Designers who have owned products, features and services from start to finish. 
  • Designers who have led projects to launch, used metrics and research to iterate and improve.
  • Designers who have versatility in different design disciplines (visual, motion, research)
  • Designers who can utilize different artifacts to unblock projects and move forward with little to no guidance 
    • Decision trees, vision decks, user flows, prototypes
  • Designers who have experiences with Productivity apps and/or smart home /voice powered experiences



-Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field + experience in graphic design or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of experience establishing design systems for various brands.
- Ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach with design and engineers.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong interaction skills for patterns and components
- Interest in or experience with using Content Management Systems (CMS) and,or designing for them.
- Interest in or experience with layout design and visual communications.
- Experience working closely with UX and product management teams in the tech industry.
