  • Proactively identify research opportunities with potential for meaningful product impact
  • Independently lead research planning and execution, effectively building alignment with cross-functional peers and stakeholders throughout the research process
  • Clearly communicate insights and learnings, tying directly to actionable next steps and impact on customer experience and product direction
  • Lead brainstorming and alignment sessions, ensuring the user voice is present in customer experience and product decisions
  • Champion user research across the organization, leading company-wide efforts aiming to streamline the collection and sharing of user feedback
  • Produce journey maps, service experience prototypes, empathy maps and value proposition proposals
  • Utilize UX tools to build a comprehensive 360-degree view of the current state of user experience in various journeys while defining new products and services models
  • Conduct primary, secondary, and analogous research to plan and conduct workshops in partnership with product and marketing teams as well as doctors and consumers with a specific focus on participatory design
  • Work closely with a core team to test comprehensive concepts, marketing and in-office patient experiences
  • Able to see patterns in subjective data and formulate insights, reframe problems and are adept at explaining those insights to stakeholders


  • A bachelor’s degree in art, design, behavioral science or related field; a graduate degree in user experience research, service design, organization development or design innovation is preferred
  • 7 – 9 years of UX design research and strategy
  • Experienced with task-based, unmoderated usability tests; talk-out-loud protocol; building tests on platforms like UserZoom
  • Expertise in A/B testing, creative surveys and interpreting analytics data
  • Significant healthcare experience is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated record of planning and conducting research programs, developing insights and envisioning desirable human futures and translating concepts into action
  • Superior communications skills, with the ability to distill complex insights and information into simple language
