Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who will own the project management of big website launch. This will include developing and maintaining an overall project plan (milestones,
interdependencies, required resources), owning the communication within the project team as well as stakeholders,the documentation as well as managing the progress of the different work packages. The latter will require the
project manager to support individual work stream owners with operational project management at task level to ensure they are able to deliver their milestones on time. In this role the project manager will also be required to
identify roadblocks and help the teams to identify solutions. 


Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain a project schedule for the targeted launch dates 
  • Implement tools for workflow management (Jira is recommended), as well as documentation (Confluence is recommended)
  • Proactively work with work package owners (UX, Production, Content, Localization, Marketplace, Partner integration, Demand Generation) to ensure they deliver on time at the required quality
  •  Mitigate project bottlenecks and facilitate solutions
  •  Own documentation and communication within the project team
  •  Own meeting structure, organize team meetings for full project team as well as work packages
  •  Own communication towards stakeholders (executive audience, as well as more detailed operational stakeholder groups)

Required qualifications:

  •  6+ years of experience in IT/digital project management
  • Experience with Scrum
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira
  • Ability to structure complex scenarios
  • Excellent communication skills with both business owners as well as technical engineering teams
  •  Ability to influence with authority
  •  Proactive approach, entrepreneurial spirit (individual needs to operate autonomously)
  • Experience with Web projects (site launches)
  • Being able to navigate within a corporate environment
  • Self-starter mentality
