The role of the Business Marketing team is to articulate the product value propositions at scale. We are passionate about helping businesses of various sizes and types understand ways that this product, as part of this company's family of apps, can help them achieve their core objectives. We are constantly looking for new ways to inspire, educate and grow the industry.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced individual to help manage the B2B marketing of this product as a platform in the e-commerce space. The candidate will need to take a hands-on approach to successfully ideate, execute and measure engaging communications to businesses within set deadlines.

The ideal candidate has a background in brand and product marketing, a strong knowledge of the retail and ecommerce landscape, experience working in the social media space, and can combine both analytical and creative thinking to craft insights-driven content that inspires our business audience. The primary focus of this role is helping to creatively communicate how businesses can achieve success with our suite of ecommerce tools. This person will develop marketing collateral, case studies, webinars, partnerships, engaging social and video content, and more. In all marketing efforts, this candidate should maintain a high creative and design bar.

Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity as the company grows as a new way for people to shop and businesses to sell. A successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with large cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

-Create marketing content and educational materials to support businesses in their use of the product to help them reach customers and drive sales. Write briefs, decks, blog posts and enablement content for businesses

-Scale communications and content across digital surfaces, social media, webinars/eLearning, events and more. Define KPIs to measure and report on results across channels

-Humanize marketing communications so that technical guidance is inspiring yet simple, clear yet enjoyable and written in our brand tone of voice so businesses understand the value of the product and can learn what actions to take next

-Find and develop inspiring case study stories to aid in the growth and demand for product solutions and help scale these stories in new ways

-Partner with product marketing and research teams to uncover data and unlock new insights to inform best practices for businesses. Create creative considerations to increase the content quality for businesses with a shop on social media

-Be responsible for key stakeholder relationship-building and management. Establish strong relationships with large, cross-functional teams to rally approvals and feedback and gain alignment. Move projects forward with partners. Lead brainstorms and working sessions with internal teams. Consolidate inputs to bring the product vision to life in market

-Uplevel the product's creative output as an evangelist of the brand. Maintain a high design bar so that the brand personality shines through all marketing communications

-Be an expert in e-commerce products, online shops, catalog best practices, product tagging and more. Become an expert on our ecommerce policies and community guidelines to help businesses understand feasibility and criteria for use

-Advocate for the business audience so that brands large and small understand where to go to find resources and which product features are right for them. Represent product marketing in internal meetings to offer-up perspectives on how to best bring our products to life for the business audience

-Audit existing materials and collateral to determine where there are gaps to fill. Manage an asset repository

Education/Experience:

-8 years relevant experience

-Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism.
