One of our valued clients in the Energy industry is seeking an Email & Digital Marketing Advisor / Strategist for a long term opportunity.

Primary responsibility is to oversee our client's email channel and consumer retention efforts. This Email and Digital Marketing advisor will live and breathe analytics and strategy. While this role is to focus on email initially the expectation is that you will be able to think about holistic consumer journeys leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enable a connected experience across owned channels (email, SMS, social, website).

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Own all aspects of the communications program including email, sends, acquisition/list growth, triggered and transactional in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Establish email and CRM strategy with a focus on initial acquisition and engagement to drive purchase frequency and consumer LTV.
  • Create and execute customer segmentation and contact strategies to drive business objectives around increasing consumer engagement, purchase frequency and lifetime value.
  • Build and maintain an ecosystem of triggered consumer journeys, personalized to the individual
  • Create content strategies and calendars across lifecycle, promotional, launch, and brand relevant campaigns
  • Develop roadmap to fully leveraging and executing across the business in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, providing best practices to maintain the suite of Marketing Cloud products.
  • Develop prospecting plans to drive new consumer acquisition (connected to our brand strategy), reporting on success cost to acquire new consumers, LTV and engagement analysis.
  • Manage ongoing optimization of KPIs by designing comprehensive, measurable A/B testing methods and developing testing plans.
  • Track campaign, channel and data metrics to inform planning, articulating key learnings and actionable insights.
  • Drive process efficiencies through continuous improvement of workflow and tools.
  • Maintain knowledge of various best practices, tools and metrics to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Work alongside Website Digital Advisor to develop and execute connected consumer journeys across platforms
  • Contribute and participate in Brand Experience network. Leveraging and sharing best practices across the business.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members in website, analytics, social, retail and installed to build campaigns, test offers and maximize messaging to the channel.

Project Work:
Work alongside Consumer Engagement manager to define and select SFMC operating partner


  • Experience and certification with Saleforce Marketing Cloud
  • Proficiency of email analytics and ability to understand, interpret and utilize data to evolve strategy and execution to drive incremental revenue
  • 4+ years’ experience in developing connected consumer journeys and comfortable with segmentation, automation strategy and email marketing
