Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Administrates credits process for feature, television/streaming shows, and other productions.
• Drafts, prepares, proofs, and/or summarizes legal documents and correspondence (including, but not limited to, cast credits, paid ads, vendor credits, incentive credits, copyright notices, and logos).
• Responsible for document analysis, fact finding, verification, preparing and filing. Transactional documents, or conducting legal research.
• Work closely with Production in preparation of the initial draft of credits.
• Coordinate the preparation of credits with Credit & Title Administration.
• May act as a point of contact for colleagues and those of any other Disney department, entity or affiliate relating to credits.
• Has their work closely monitored by an Attorney.
• Coordinate correspondence and standard required paperwork with unions and guilds.
• Coordinate writer credit process with live action development and internally.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of applicable legal procedures, terminology, policies, and standards, especially as they relate to feature and television production.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
• Ability to take initiative, focus on details, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment to appropriately discern when to escalate issues.
• Qualification to be a paralegal by certification or education preferable.
• 1-5 years of work experience in the entertainment legal profession
