Job Description:

Clien'ts Marketing & Creative team is seeking a Social Media Manager to join the game-changing brand social media team. The right person for this role will be an experienced social media manager with deep knowledge of social insights and a passion for original programming and pop culture. The right candidate must speak Gen Z, with a deep understanding on how to connect with that audience.

The Manager will drive the publishing strategy and content strategy of our brand accounts with a focus on IG Feed, Twitter and Facebook. The role will dive deep into social media analytics to inform content development in real time and ensure we are achieving social media engagement goals.

The position will work closely with the Social Media Producers, Community Engagement Manager, and the Creative teams to fuel our new publishing strategy.

The Social Media Manager’s Responsibilities:

  • Manage the brand accounts, establishing client as a premier Gen Z and Millennial entertainment brand across social.
  • Define and execute platform publishing strategy to grow audience, engagement, and conversation across the brand.
  • Ideate content that embodies the core of the brand
  • Own analytics + insights. Responsible for delivery of KPIs.
  • Create and implement content calendar.
  • Oversee Social Media Coordinator as they execute copywriting, scheduling, video captioning, live tweeting, etc.
  • Collaborate with Series Social teams for brand posts
  • Act as the voice of the platform audience. Consistently maintain our young, dynamic, witty, and clever brand voice.
  • Brief creative + producers on content needs
  • Own timelines + delivery milestones
  • Spearhead heritage months + brand campaigns 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of managing high-profile social media brands
  • Social media platform expertise and a knowledge of how to utilize each platform to drive engagement.
  • Expertise and interest in what moves Millennial and Gen Z culture with the ability to anticipate content trends as they are developing
  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for the brand, the content we produce, and the stories and people we amplify
  • Strong copywriting, project management, and organizational skills
  • Experience using data to inform content decisions.
  • Comfort and professionalism working with network talent and influencer talent
  • Availability and enthusiasm to work live brand and entertainment events, as needed
