This particular team is looking for a visionary copywriter to help develop new products to ensure that the company pays every employee accurately and on time. The team's mission is to build world-class time and attendance systems that are intuitive and friction-free for all users, enable management of time and pay with close to zero defects, are available on-demand as new businesses launch, and flexibly support future business innovation. The team serves employees across more than 20 countries and a dozen lines of business. We are a start-up tackling new, hard problems that the company has not solved at scale, creating fundamentally improved ways for employees to record time and reduce pay defects. This team has a balance of start-up vision and operational excellence, technical complexity and clear product definition, and global scope across multiple company-owned businesses. We are developing a start-up product to deliver a perfect pay experience to the company's world-wide hourly populations.

We are seeking a Copywriter who is a master of their craft, producing clear, compelling copy for our customers while also understanding the business objectives behind the work. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while developing original copy and collaborating with a driven and dedicated team of product managers and engineers.

This role requires an expert command of grammar and style, as well as a desire to simplify complicated processes for non-technical users. The right candidate must be passionate about writing and editing, maintaining style guides and evergreen content—all while upholding a consistent voice and tone.

• Write accessible copy for our employee-facing products.
• Partner with design, product, and customer engagement to consistently raise the bar for creative development and execution.
• Present copy strategy and creative concepts.
• Own the audit and feedback loops with partners to uphold our voice and tone standards.

Basic Qualifications:
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating excellence in copywriting, across a range of deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience copywriting and editing in an agency or in-house setting.
• Strong customer-focused thinking.
• Proven experience writing concise, quippy, and engaging copy—specialties in UX copy are a plus, but not required.
• Proven ability to write copy for a variety of platforms and customer touchpoints.
• Ability to succeed as sole copywriter in org.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment with multiple different stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
• Relentlessly high-quality standards and exceptional attention to detail and deadlines.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills, with a demonstrated ability to apply them to internal processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
