Job Description:

Our Fortune 100 client is seeking a Creative Project Manager to join their Client Services team and focus on their US Commercial clients.  This role is a part of their internal agency, which is the premier source for profound marketing insights, world-class strategy, brilliant concepts, and content that inspires action and delivers results. As part of the Client Services function within Creative, you will be an integral part of the team that helps ensure clients view the team as their partner of choice for creative work by ensuring an easy experience in working together and by delivering smart marketing communications that meet the business and communications goals of the company.

You will work in partnership with the Account Supervisor/Director to help identify the project plan, estimate cost/timing, and manage the creative development to meet business expectations of quality, turnaround time, and budget. You must uphold the highest level of client communications, always evaluating communications through the lens of building the client relationship. Also, you will ensure simple, clear, effective, and efficient delivery of consistent and respectful communication to the individual customer audience, in keeping with overall brand standards so that all efforts help improve their ability to stand out in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As part of the Client Services team, assist in the planning and development of appropriate communications solutions to meet business communications goals
  • Work with other Client Services team members (Account Supervisors and, at times, the Account Director) to help develop project proposals/SOWs and creative briefing documents including message direction, in preparation for communications creation and production.
  • Manage projects from start to finish including creative development, internal/client reviews, proofreading, translation, compliance/legal and production.
  • Develop and manage project estimates and timelines for all projects; contribute to monthly billing meetings to ensure proper charge-back to partners.
  • Work with the team to review creative prior to being shared with clients to quality control.
  • Track and report estimated vs. actual costs. Provide revised estimates when project scope changes.
  • Craft and track detailed project schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Keep project status reporting tool updated in real-time
  • Coordinate with external production vendors, as needed, to ensure the end creative product will meet production specifications.

  • Proven understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Ability to understand and manage direct mail or email marketing matrix. Ability to manage many versions associated with a complex matrix.
  • Experience working with creative and digital teams and setting expectations for deliverables.
  • Ability to proactively manage resources.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrix-oriented environment.
  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills: the ability to foster collaboration.Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  •  Bachelor's degree or equivalent training; minimum 3 yrs project management experience. Ad agency experience preferred.
